📦 Processing & Fulfillment (John's Journey)

Every single order from our shop is proudly hand-packaged and fulfilled by John. John is a traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor, and managing this storefront's fulfillment is a key part of his ongoing recovery, independence, and personal journey.

Because we prioritize care, quality, and careful execution over rushed shipping:

  • Orders are typically packed and processed within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends and major holidays).
  • You will receive a notification with a tracking number the moment John prints your label and seals your package.

🚚 Domestic Shipping Rates & Estimates

We offer live, carrier-calculated shipping rates directly from USPS and UPS at checkout to ensure you get the fairest price possible.

  • Lightweight Items (Single T-Shirts & Hats): Typically ship via USPS Ground Advantage for the lowest reliable rate.
  • Bulk Orders (Multiple shirts/bundles): May ship via UPS Ground or USPS depending on which carrier offers the fastest and most cost-effective route for your specific package weight.

Standard domestic shipping generally takes 2 to 5 business days once handed off to the carrier.

🌍 International Shipping

We proudly ship worldwide using DHL Express and DHL eCommerce to ensure reliable cross-border delivery.

  • Duties & Taxes: International shipping rates, duties, and local taxes are calculated dynamically at checkout. These fees are paid upfront so your package can clear customs smoothly without surprise charges upon delivery.
  • Delivery Timeline: International shipping times vary wildly by destination, typically ranging from 3 to 5 business days via DHL Express, and 7 to 14 business days via DHL eCommerce.

🔍 How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become active.       

‼️ Crushed or Damaged Items

We take great care in packaging our inventory. Hats are always shipped in rigid boxes to protect the crown, and apparel is securely sealed in water-resistant mailers. If your order arrives damaged or misshapen due to carrier handling, please contact us immediately at orders@jjsbrainshop.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.
